Participation in sports competition is the in thing, though there is a lot of heart break when you do not become number one, or loose in a lot of games.
But i still strongly recommend taking part in competitive sports and games, even if you may come out last or second last.
Please do not laugh about it.
For some reason, those who end up at the lowest rung on the ladder are still better than those who just watch games and sports from the sidelines.
Spectators and even a lot of the celebrities would say why just participate if you cannot win.
I beg to disagree.
A celebrity may be asked are you number one in whatever you may be doing?
If the answer is yes, there's no problem.
But if that's not the case, should you not quit?
Where's the chance of winning or climbing up the ladder if you won't even try?
When I was a school kid, I took part in elocution, hockey, badminton, swimming, cricket and didn't win much, but to this day I just can't forget the joy and ecstasy of being there.
I did excel in a whole lot of sports but never took it up as a full time hobby that may explain my standing there and clapping for the worthy winners most of the time.
