Materialism, consumerism, and products are killing the earth, but more than that maybe, it's the packaging that's destructive and enemy of environment.
I would like to give a very small example here.
Sweets house and shops are very famous all over India.
In Delhi itself so many nice brands have come up namely Bikanerwala, Halidiram, Aggarwal Sweets, and so on.
I am a great fan too just like all of you.
But the packaging they offer is now more and more tilted towards plastic, cellophane, disposable cups, plates, glasses, spoons, straws and what not.
A simple court order to use steel or reusable plastic cutlery e.g. thick plastic plates, glasses, steel spoons, that can be reused a thousand times, can restore a lot of things back to order, but what are we waiting for honourable courts???
Let's stop the murder of earth now, or impose penalties.
Kindly ban single use disposable utensils now, immediately, urgently.
