Cars should not never have been allowed to be one of the biggest polluters of the environment in the first place.
Millions of tonnes of poisonous emissions into the air we breathe and we are counting it everyday on our electronic meters, and still not doing anything about it.
Medium cars, large cars, and luxury cars should only be allowed to ply on Sunday.
These should be given fuel, petrol or diesel, with much more heavier tax to curb and limit their use even more.
Smallest cars should be promoted more, more, and more with stress on better fuel consumption and alternate environment friendly options e.g. CNG or electric.
Where's the problem in implementing all these terms and conditions?
This will also improve traffic congestions on roads by a huge extent, and reduce poison in the air.
Shops and commercial establishments should also be promoted in residential areas so that nobody has to travel far and wide to buy toothpaste, medicines, or vegetables.
